How to create a Thumbtack Pro account.
Thumbtack is a business listing website that allows you to sell all kinds of services and only pay for the leads that setup a call. Here is how to setup a successful Thumbtack Pro account and make sure that leads say yes to your profile.
1. Go to Thumbtack and click Sign Up.
Start by going to Thumbtack and clicking on Join as a pro in the upper right corner. This will begin the process of creating an account.
2. Select your main category and location.
First select the main category and the main area that you serve. This will be the most general service and you will be able to add more later on. Click Get Started.
3. Create your free account.
Next you will have to create an account. You can use Facebook, Google, or email to create a Thumbtack Pro account. Be sure to use the email that you will check often, so you don’t miss leads. You will then be asked to enter your phone number and confirm your account.
4. Enter your personal information.
This information will not be shared with customers unless you choose to share it. Enter your information and click Submit.
5. Enter your business information.
If your business is your Name, then enter your name instead of a business name. If you do not want to share your address, then be sure to leave it blank. If you have a location and would like customers to know; then be sure to enter the address.
6. Get reviews by emailing past customers.
Thumbtack will give you the ability to invite past customers to review your account. Reviews will help you get more leads. If you have customers emails handy, then be sure to send invites.
7. Setup your budget and payment method.
With Thumbtack Pro, you will pay for ever y lead that matches your preferences and contacts you. Setup your weekly budget, preferences, and payment method. You will be able to adjust your preferences in your profile to get the most out of your budget. Once you create your Thumbtack Pro profile be sure to add as much information as possible including images. The more complete your profile is, the more leads will say yes.
